1. Introduction

These Terms of Trade, Event Terms and Privacy Policy (“Terms”) apply to all vendors, attendees, ticket purchasers, and participants involved with The Wedding Edit (“Event”).

The Wedding Edit is owned and operated by Nicholls & Co.

By purchasing a ticket, applying for or participating as a vendor, attending the Event, or engaging with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Nature of the Event

The Wedding Edit is a curated, design-led wedding experience. It is not a traditional expo.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

  • approve or decline vendor applications

  • curate vendor categories and placement

  • adjust layouts, features, and experiences

  • remove or reposition vendors or attendees where necessary

3. General Event Terms

3.1 Event Changes

We reserve the right to make changes where reasonably necessary, including:

  • date, time, or venue

  • layout or format

  • vendor lineup

  • event inclusions

3.2 Cancellation or Postponement

We may cancel, postpone, or reschedule the Event due to circumstances beyond our control.

Where the Event is cancelled and not rescheduled, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund to the extent required under New Zealand law.

3.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss

  • Liability is limited to:

    • ticket price (attendees)

    • vendor fee (vendors)

3.4 Personal Property

All attendees and vendors are responsible for their own belongings.

3.5 Health and Safety

All persons must follow event and venue safety requirements.

3.6 Photography

By attending, you consent to photography and video content being used for marketing purposes.

3.7 Compliance with Law

Nothing in these Terms limits rights under New Zealand law, including:

  • Consumer Guarantees Act

  • Fair Trading Act

  • Privacy Act

4. Vendor Terms

4.1 Acceptance

Vendor participation is by approval only and confirmed upon full payment.

4.2 Fees

  • Non-refundable

  • Non-transferable

4.3 Conduct

Vendors must:

  • maintain a high-quality presentation

  • act professionally

  • not use aggressive sales tactics

4.4 Setup

Must comply with all allocated times and safety requirements.

4.5 Insurance

Vendors are responsible for their own insurance and any damage caused.

4.6 Indemnity

Vendors indemnify Nicholls & Co against claims arising from their participation.

4.7 Marketing

We may use vendor content and imagery for promotion.

4.8 No Guarantee

No guarantee of leads, bookings, or return on investment.

5. Ticket Holder Terms

5.1 Tickets

  • Final sale

  • Non-refundable except where required by law

5.2 Entry

We may refuse entry or remove attendees for inappropriate behaviour.

5.3 Experience

Event details may change.

6. Force Majeure

We are not liable for events outside our control, including:

  • weather

  • pandemics

  • government restrictions

  • supplier failure
